SO MUCH TO DO ... SO LITTLE TIME!!!

Studying this hard was never on the blueprints for me, the past week have been doing a lot more studying than I thought I would be doing. Quantitative techniques is a pain in the ass, I seriously have never seen a management grad using any of those bloody equations like ever. Accounting is fun but the theory subject are horrible. There's absolutely nothing to understand, you've got to memorize pages and pages of meaningless jibber jabber and you keep wondering why you are even reading it.

VIVA VOCE!!!
Hee hee my college actually looks cool in pictures, but looks can be misleading, some bigshot was coming down today so they even had the fountain up and working...

Viva was thankfully all done wit today, the 2 week long ass grinding was kinda too much for all of us, so we decided to treat ourselves to a day off ... eating, gaming and hookah...

MATH, MUSIC AND MADNESS... When you all of a sudden try to stuff in a whole year of math in 2 hours I think it is near to impossible to stay sane. Lucky for me, music helps and thanks to a healthy dose of Rock, peppered with Trance and a sprinkling of Hip-hop I managed to cover a lot more than I thought was humanly possible... Hmmm guess someone isn't handing in a blank sheet tomorrow. I just hope I don't bust a fuse anytime soon or everything is going to go kaput.

MY WISH LIST...
If I was ever given a chance to fill my garage with 6 bikes of my choice they will be these...

1)Honda CB750

2)Yamaha RD350

3)Yamaha RX135

4)Yezdi Roadking

5)Suzuki Shogun

Not to forget the Kawasaki "The Widowmaker" Triple

RANDOM SENSE!!!
After all the black and white I decided to add a bit of color too. This picture was taken from the balcony at Dad's office. The contrast in this picture is amazing... The colors are vivid, thank Zeus...the failing light didn't affect the picture quality much...

SWUFT KAAR!!!
Dad finally picked up the car today and I didn't like the color at first but it seems to be slowly growing on me... Had my English exam today and it was pathetic to say the least. I don't think I could have been more bored than I was today. The guys met up at the chai place after college and had an impromptu photo session with Sam's bike. Not to mention the adrenalin flowing through everyone as they all decided to check out how his bike handled after the installation of the snappy looking clip-ons. Have to admit it did steer quicker but I wish he shifted back to the original Zappers, the new rubbers a little too skiddish for my liking. After this I headed for Dad's office so that we could go and pick up our brand new "Swuft Kaar". Hee hee all in all a nice day...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Today was my sister's birthday, her first away from home, so miss you right now!!!... we also had to take Buddy for his shots today and it was nothing short of an adventure. We even managed to break the weighing scale, thanks to the combined weight of me and Buddy. Tomorrow is the first day of my pre-finals, I've got English and I really don't feel like studying for it. Dozed off twice already and at this rate I don't think I'll be getting anywhere...

So much Fun!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Today was way too awesome... haven't had this much fun in ages.

First was a session in the lab and since neither of us seemed capable of any work we decided to prank people. We switched the monitors for 2 of the systems such that the mouse and keyboard worked for the next system... Then we asked people to figure out what we did. People came up with some real weird explanations which defy logic but none the less were very entertaining. Oh and almost forgot... Mr.Guha tried to do the same but wasn't too successful... Then we were back in class and we decided to finger each other just for the sake of it.

NUMB3ERS

Love is a strange thing, its one of those things which can give your life a fresh breath of air and suffocate you at the same time. Love maybe isn't for me, or maybe I'm just addicted to it... Either way it is not doing me any good.

In the end relationships always boil down to sex and good conversation... Sounds corny but its true ... . I can almost see most of you waving a finger at me and saying "Uhg uh... not me!!!" , buts lets face the facts. In a relationship the 2 most important things are firstly; to be physically attracted to the person and secondly; to be mentally stimulated in the company of the person. Both of these go hand in hand and one without the other just doesn't cut it. If you are mentally aroused by someone's company but not physically attracted to them, you can have an awesome time just talking but then in the end all you are left with is a friend and if its vice versa and you are only physically attracted to that someone and are not mentally stimulated in anyway; you may have some awesome sex but you will have a very shallow relationship which is verging on the bounds of prostitution or maybe you are just a pervert.

I for one decided to look back on all the relationships which I had in the past 3 years, which unlike what most people think, is a really long time and when you seem to have this knack of attraction the mentally unstable from the fairer sex... the relationships can be quite short lived... most of them ending when the girl either decides to kill herself or kill me for not taking her call at 3 am. And this is what I came up with

5 - the number of relationships I've had in the past 3 years

7 - is the number of girls I went out with... now you may be wondering why there are 7 girls and only 5 relationships, simple explanation... 2 of the girls freaked me out so much that I never called them back after the first date.

4 months is how long the longest relationship lasted, quite awhile when you look at it

9 months is the longest I stayed single

3 months is how long my last relationship lasted

and finally 606 hrs 34min and 49 sec is how long I've spoken on the phone for in the past 6 months.

I'm not particularly proud of these numbers and more specifically the last number because that means that I have spent an average of 3hrs 15 min on the phone every single day in the past 6 months. Kinda pathetic...

Ugggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
I need to stop using the phone so much ... The past few days I've been trying to use it less but i seem to be having withdrawal symptoms. Lets see how keeping my talk time under 2 hours a day goes down. Managed to keep my messaging down to about 20 a day but the calling has not ceased as yet. I think its going to tougher then getting off nicotine.

We are so bloody lost!

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, racism is a belief or ideology that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially to distinguish it as being either superior or inferior to another race or races.

The Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines racism as a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race, and that it is also the prejudice based on such a belief.

Now the way I look at it, strictly adhering to the above mentioned definition. Its not the westerners but we Indians who are the most racist of the lot.

The Westerners as you have mentioned did have racial prejudices to the so called dark-skinned people. They were technically superior and therefore felt that the rest of the world was hopelessly inferior to the extent where they needed to be schooled on how to live. This however was more so because of ignorance and to an extent fear.

The ignorance over the next few generations turned into habit and this led to the what we now come to understand as racism.
The years of reform and widespread enlightenment have led to its much wanted demise however the effect was not total. When they say old habits die hard, they should have added racism to the list. However the "white man" now is so scared to even utter something that may vaguely be thought of a racial slur that he would rather say nothing rather than be persecuted in a court of law.

The Indian on the other hand is so used to racial persecution that they have positively forgotten what might amount to racism. Almost everything we as Indians say to describe a person can be considered racial. For example we feel all Marwadis are tight fisted money mongers and pretty openly
accuse them of being cheap. Now this a blatant display of racism and no less. We thing all Biharis are mannerless cow herders , again racism. We think all Sardars are dumb, racism yet again.

The "white man" atleast makes an effort to move away from stereotypes and treat everyone with respect. They make such a huge effort to eradicate racism that they will got to an extent of alienating an entire country. But what about us as Indians, where do we stand on stereotypes, when will we make an effort to a united India and not have a North-South divide, when will we learn to treat someone with respect regardless of their cast or gender. When will we set aside our cultural and religious beliefs so that we can at the least begin to make an effort. I hope that its sooner than later.
